"Ina te mahi, he rangatira."
Which roughly translates as, by his deeds a chief is known.
This is my promise both to my people and my Tupuna (Ancestors) for in this world today, traditional leaders in among the youth are not present, so in order for my culture to survive and prosper by it's own means, i have decided to step up and run as a possible candidate to become the next Maori Kiingi.
Many of you will hear from me from time to time as i deal and start my working progress at the ground level which is in among the Hapuu (Sub-tribe) levels and within my own Hapuu (Sub-tribe) Ngati Parekawaa.
" Without hope the future is lost to the ravishes of time "
So in time within about a year or so give or take i will be travelling to the U.S.A to work with other Indigenous tribal leaders and elders, i want to ultimately create some sort of a common understanding with a few Native American tribes in the states who share the same dream and vision as me.
So to those who know of Te Kiingitanga both past and present situations, do not fear i would rather die then to witness the ultimate victory of Te Kiingitanga be lost to neglect or to its destructive ends.
Te Kiingitanga does have hope....
Te Tuinga a Ratawharia a Io oku Ariki Katoa....
Ariki (Chief) Hotu Wai Ariki of the Ngati Parekawaa Hapuu, an up-coming aspiring Iwi leader and hopeful next Maori Kingi, keeper of the faith and protector of the righteous cause.

Maori King threatens to abdicate after actions criticised - National - NZ Herald News
The Maori King has threatened to abdicate after members of the tribe's parliament, Te Kauhanganui, questioned his use of tribal funds and his choice of company directors, it was reported today.
Abdication report 'lies' - National - NZ Herald News
Kingitanga leaders say reports that King Tuheitia told tribal parliamentarians on Sunday that he would abdicate are "outright lies".
This news is a bit old but i still think it is relevant, i genuinely believe that the current Kiingi Tuheitia would still abdicate the throne if Tainui continue warring against each other, but fear for i too like Kiingi Tuheitia descend from Kiingi Potatau directly as well, coming from his eldest daughter Amoha also known as Tiria or Te Okeoke or Makareta.
Her son was Rawiri and Rawiri was the Mokopuna (Grandchild) of Kiingi Potatau so i am entitled to the throne.
Many would say i want the throne for power, and i would say i greatly disagree with that remark as i would like to be even considered the next Maori Kiingi to help my people prosper and flourish, as the way it continues now, our ruined kingdom would be finally destroyed into the sands of fate and destiny.
I am not groomed per se but i am willing to learn and have a plethora of advisers grooming in my own standards befitting such a role.
I am young and radically dedicated, so if it happens upon per chance if you see this Kingi Tuheitia, my liege, please just consider me a possible candidate and let me show you what this 21 year old can do for the Kingdom of Te Kiingitanga. I ain't a regular young adult like most of my friends say and i would never dis honor the Kiingitanga at all.. period and i take my word until death or until i dishonor my word in which i shall take my life for dishonor, that is dedication
The work has been carried out and shall continue until it has been accomplished and in finished state.

1966 KINGITANGA MOVEMENT: Although there are many theories amongst Maori about the geneology line of descent for the Kingitanga, the role of the Monarch is not hereditary in any way. The geneology line of descent for the Kingitanga Movement actually switched in 1966 when Princess Piki, the second eldest daughter of King Koroki, became the Maori Queen and took her mother’s name during the funeral of her father King Koroki thus ending the Potatau Te Wherowhero 1858-1860 Kingitanga link therefore the current Maori King
. Tuheitia Paki in his 5 years as the Maori King has not achieved anything other than causing disruption and conflict within Tainui and appears to have absolutely no respect or regard for what his position stands for
in a bid for the throne there still seem to be other mysterious forces at work preventing progress on this matter. After reading several articles online from the younger generation who feel that the current Maori King should be replaced along with the information above from the northern iwi and current conflict within Tainui, the rightful successor to the throne is now calling for ALL MAORI to unite as one to ensure that the current Kingitanga’s leader is removed from his position as this has to be arranged prior to her coronation and as this has NEVER been done before prior to the reigning King or Queen’s passing she is calling on ALL iwi leaders both within Tainui and nationwide to ensure that a correct protocol can be created and established with agreement of ALL iwi leaders as she is ready willing and able to step up and fulfil this role but cannot achieve it alone.

Respectful of the old world and traditions, young and familiar face to appeal to the young and witha strong work ethic, commitment and duty to Te Kiingitanga and my Tupuna (Ancestor) First Maori Kiingi, Potatau Te Wherowhero.

Venerable and Holy Fathers,
In listening to the profound spiritual message conveyed by your closing addresses, and appreciating the happy outcome of your sustained efforts, Our heart has been touched by profound gladness. It should therefore be clear to the whole world from the result of your work that Your Holiness has been guided and inspired by the Holy Spirit to accomplish your task in love and unity.
The great common tasks accomplished by this Conference in unison bestow on the true faith and true order of the Oriental Orthodox Church the admiration of the whole world.
As Solomon says, physical distance cannot be a barrier to love. Likewise, the distances among your respective countries have been abolished by the proximity of your hearts. You have thus been able to speak a single tongue and think with a single mind. We thank Almighty God for enabling us to witness the realization of Our dream in the successful outcome of this historic Conference.
We are therefore happy to express to you Our readiness, fortified by the results of this Conference, to invite you and the Eastern Orthodox Churches, and also other churches at a later date. We ardently hope that we shall meet once again in the not too distant future.
As we stated at the inauguration of this Conference, to meet together, to take council with one another, and to act in mutual co-operation, has proved a most fruitful method both in the secular and spiritual fields. Henceforth the way is open for you to follow this fruitful path, and to this end Our help and assistance will always be forthcoming, since We support your efforts, and ideas out of an unshakable conviction that it is our spiritual duty to do so.
We are gratified in particular to note that the work of this Conference has been concerned purely with religious spiritual matters free from extraneous political considerations. This is only fine and proper, for the church, as a symbol of peace, must follow the path of peace in all parts of the world. In this connection we are glad to note that your evangelistic mission in the world has received due emphasis, in your deliberations, together with the recognition of the Christian duty to pray for the rights of man and the peace of the world. For world peace can only be made abiding by the Grace of God, through the prayers of the Holy Fathers. The truth of this cardinal fact is evident to all mankind.
We ardently hope that Almighty God shall bless the implementation of your important resolutions and decisions, just as He has made possible the successful convening and conclusion of this historic Conference. Holy Fathers, we have welcomed the title you have given us, Defender of the Faith, with great honour. May Almighty God grace your name. May God welcome you. We have received this title given us by you Holy Fathers, with religious reverence. May your prayers help Us in Our effort to fulfil the task entrusted to us.
